You can use twitter by tweeting the ones that say "tweet" beside it or you can use the ones that say Web by copying and pasting the link into your social media accounts - that includes Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Tumblr.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Now, the key to making some actual money with this is that you have to share lots. Each share only gets a small amount of exposure to people (unless you have a massive Facebook Page). So the more you share the more you make.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Some of them are obvious ads while others are fun and interesting posts like this: </span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><i><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Can you spot the terrible photoshop mistakes in these pictures? </span><a href="http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F1cwBaj4&h=UAQELnQR4AQEVzB1oeH_YAs8mCE4AHwlwdLCSGgEODEBl0A&s=1" rel="nofollow nofollow" style="background-color: white; color: #3b5998; cursor: pointer; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">http://bit.ly/1cwBaj4</a></i><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">It's not going to make you rich but an extra $10 a month adds up. Why? Because you can earn $$$$! </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Well, if you're not signed up already start here: </span><a href="http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fswagbucks.com%2Frefer%2Fcushk&h=vAQGxRt_PAQEYL3E8MYqjGDWa24TCxHrXPkXqCiCOxWtYvw&s=1" rel="nofollow nofollow" style="background-color: white; color: #3b5998; cursor: pointer; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">http://swagbucks.com/refer/<wbr></wbr><span class="word_break" style="display: inline-block;"></span>cushk</a><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Now how do you earn? Well, first and foremost, make sure that SwagBucks is your default search engine because for every search you do you could win SwagBucks. As little as a few up to $50 or even more (that's the most I've gotten on a search).</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">But that's not all. You can earn SwagBucks by shopping. Do you shop online at all? I know I do. I buy a lot of ebooks at Kindle. I buy stuff at Amazon.ca. And if you enter the store through your SwagBucks links you earn more SwagBucks for every dollar you spend. And there are lots of stores to choose from like Walmart, Sears, Bath and Body, etc.</span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">Ok, so I'm not done yet. You can do surveys, watch videos, do a daily poll, play games, and a whole bunch of stuff. Now, you don't want to sit around all day long doing this stuff but if you have five minutes, watch a video or something. Over time it adds up. I'm really close to cashing out with $50 in PayPal. You can also cash out by getting an Amazon.ca gift card or a whole bunch of other stuff. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;">It's fun and easy and you can do it when you have a few minutes.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px;"><br /></span>

I like this one for surveys because you can just do a short survey or two when you have a few minutes to spare. You don't have to go through the process of finding out if you qualify for the survey because everyone qualifies for the surveys.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><span style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><a href="http://www.tellwut.com/guard/register/?refer=dmcgaw" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="132" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF8bXZMdbfZmNbm6Pwwqk4qLAe1FL2ItX_Lcaang8CHEgJFB8C0pNEjghApQFTTeQiur3KvZ5naMTAo_U1O-JQD5tnq21hlvBVP3oijntuxOET1q4pLfjQmOeubs_hPlmxqQn_RnVAa08/s400/tellwut.PNG" width="400" /></a></span></td></tr>

</tbody></table>
You can start doing easy surveys right away. Each survey is worth 5 or 10 points and takes no more than 30 seconds to do. Once you have enough points you can cash out for gift cards. My favorite is the Amazon gift cards (.com or .ca) because you can buy so much at Amazon. I save them up for when I want things or for holidays. But you can also get gift cards for Best Buy and other retail stores.<br />

<br />
I've been pretty absent for awhile lately but I think I am going to take a stab at reviving this site a bit. Part of the reason I'm doing that is because I'm going to start looking into other ways to make money online besides just writing. I will be still writing and talking about residual income sites where you can write but I'll be adding things like survey sites and email sites, too. Why?<br />
<br />
Well, my mom is in her 60s and she's living on her senior's income now (in Canada that's about $1400 a month) and she's finding it pretty tough to make ends meet sometimes. Especially if she ever wants to do things like buy an ebook to read or whatever. So, I'm going to try and help her get going on making a bit of money online doing things that are pretty easy.<br />
<br />
I figure this is a good place to maybe talk about those things.<br />
<br />
I know there are a lot of people that want to learn how to do these things so I'm going to try to help here.<br />
<br />
If there's something in particular that you want me to look into please leave me a comment!Dani Gibbings McGawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16611072481184938826noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3055443824553008076.post-12185213948779886532013-11-02T18:27:00.000-05:002013-12-28T18:27:49.670-06:00Income Report - October 2013<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<a data-mce-href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/or01.jpg" href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/or01.jpg"><img alt="or01" class="alignright size-medium wp-image-476" data-mce-src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/or01-259x300.jpg" height="300" src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/or01-259x300.jpg" style="border: 0px; cursor: default; float: right;" width="259" /></a>Seriously - where did October go? I must be getting old or something because time seems to just fly by these days. I mean, really - my kids are growing up - one of them moved out with a child of her own (ya, I'm a grandma!) and the other is going to be 18 in two years! I've been working from home for more than 3 years now. And 2013 is almost over! Crazy.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Before I get onto the income report, check out the picture that I had made for me on Fiverr -----><br />I don't think it really looks like me but it makes me laugh. :)</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Ok - let's talk money...</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
1. Bubblews</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I made a whopping 50 posts on Bubblews this month. You'd think that would make a huge increase - or at least noticeable - over last month since I only did 19 in September right? Nope. It stayed almost exactly the same! Off by just pennies! Bizarre hey? I guess I know now that the majority of my income from Bubblews is coming from older stuff, not the new stuff that I put up. I'm not sure what that means for future writing. Will I post more? Or less? I don't know. I'll have to think about that. As long as I keep getting paid! Oh, how much did I make? $153.48</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Oh! Before I forget, if you're newish to Bubblews, I actually released an ebook about it! Yes, there's a Bubblews guidebook/FAQ now! It's totally unofficial but I've been there a year and I'm still there so I guess I must know a thing or two right? If you'd like to check it out you can find <a data-mce-href="http://amzn.to/1e1Qsxa" href="http://amzn.to/1e1Qsxa" target="_blank"><strong>The Lost (& Unofficial) Bubblews FAQ</strong></a> on Amazon.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $153.48</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
2. Adsense</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Well, here's a shocker - Adsense STILL sucks! Even more than it did last month! I don't even know if I want to bother with it anymore. Except for the YouTube stuff. But here's my Adsense earnings:</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $3.09!!!</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
3. YouTube</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Again, YouTube is an estimate because the amount that is in the dashboard of Adsense and the amounts that are on YouTube analytics are usually a little different and what I actually end up getting is somewhere in between the two. But this estimate is pretty close.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings (estimated): $9.09</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
4. InfoBarrel</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Do I really have to report this? I mean really, it's just so pathetic. But I guess I will...</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $0.40</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
5. Ebooks</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Great month on Ebooks this month! Love it when a new book does well. I released a new ebook and it got NINE 5 star reviews! And I swear to goodness, not one of them was solicited, traded for, bought, or anything sneaky like that. All genuine! Oh, that's not money though is it? Ok...$17? I have to estimate because a handful of books aren't showing on my report yet. Should be able to see them tomorrow I think. I'll update then.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings:</strong> <strong>$20.96</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
6. Amazon</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Wow - another site that is almost exactly the same (last month was $2.47)! LOL - odd. Nothing overly exciting here this month...</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings $2.57</strong></div>

7. Squidoo</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Again! Almost the same as last month ($4.79) - nothing exciting. I haven't really been doing too much at Squidoo. I did make a couple of new lenses earlier in the month and one of them has made a sale. Will I do more? Hmmm - maybe.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">

8. LOLSpots/MyLikes</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Slow month over at the FB pages this month. Facebook has been really messing with the algorithms and I just don't care enough to think about it too much. So, still earning but minimal</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $0.57 </strong></div>

9. My Writing Site</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Advertising was good this month on my writing site. I got paid for two ads this month. And I have been posting more. I'm actually considering moving THIS site's content over there because I can't keep up to all of my sites!</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings (not counting Adsense): $80</strong></div>

Future Stuff</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I plan on putting a lot more effort into ebook writing in the future. For October I'm participating in Nanowrimo and I'm hoping to put out TWO 30,000 word ebooks. Plus, I bought new covers for 9 of my ebooks in October and I'm <del style="color: red;">im</del>patiently waiting for them to start being visible on Kindle but a friend that has been advising me SWEARS that the new covers are going to increase my sales. I've completely revamped my author site and I finally got my first email subscriber!</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I also launched a new blog but I have no idea if I have the time to keep up with it or not. I might try to figure out a way to get someone else to add content!</div>

I haven't done an income report since June! Wow - I really should keep up with this because it helps me figure out how well I am doing.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Before I get on to the income report, I'll tell you a little bit about what I've been doing.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
First, I haven't been writing at Bubblews nearly as much as I was in June. I'm just frustrated because in July payments went missing and I've been having a hard time getting them. And one of my friends had her account closed and they won't tell her why. And it really drives me crazy. I think that it is a really unethical way of doing business. But, that being said, you'll notice there are still earnings there from September. I have no backbone. :(</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Second, I have decided to give the whole blog thing another try. A new blog with new content. And I really want to try to do it right. I'm not sure why I'm doing this. I have let a couple of blogs go to make room for this new one. I just started it and my goal is to update it twice a week and focus on good content and social media. I mean really, there's not much more that you can do these days since everything else we used to do is breaking rules! I'll see what happens with it though.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
What else? Not much. I got a few more ebooks out and I really want to do more but I have this problem. I can't focus on anything these days! I don't know what is the matter with me. LOL</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Anway, on to the reports!</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
1. Bubblews</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I made 19 posts in September. Most of them were at the beginning of the month and then a handful at the end so I could get payout once more before the month was out. I didn't post for almost 3 weeks straight. And then I caved. I wanted that one more payout before the month was over. LOL.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $153.42</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
2. Adsense</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Ohmigod my Adsense sucks! One of the reasons that I decided to start a new blog. I'm hoping this new blog will get more click throughs or something.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $4.56</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
3. YouTube</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
It's hard to be exact because the number YouTube gives me and the numbers Adsense gives me and what I actually get are usually a bit different. I still have 3 channels but only 2 of them are making money. I'm hoping this is close to right because it should be enough to get a check this month!</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings (estimated): $5.96</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
4. InfoBarrel</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
IB is not my site. I mean, it doesn't do well for me. I know people who do very well at IB but I'm not one of them. I actually removed some of my content, waited for it to de-index, and put it on my own revenue share site to see if it might do a little bit better. But, I did get a couple of nice little clicks on IB last month so...</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $1.93</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
5. Ebooks</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I really need to get my butt in gear and write some more books. Considering that I could likely write a short book of about 10,000 words in about 3 days I should have loads of them up here! I don't know why I don't. Lack of motivation? You'd think money would be enough motivation wouldn't you? Well, as of the end of September I now have 12 ebooks - two under my own name and 10 under a pseudonym.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings:</strong> <strong>$13.17</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
6. Amazon</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
The majority of my Amazon sales come from Squidoo lenses that have my own links in them. But in August I saw my first (and only) sale from my Amazon store site. That was nice. I'd like to see more of that though. I'm mostly using Pinterest for traffic for that site and a little bit of twitter. September was not my best month.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings $2.47</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
7. Squidoo</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I'm not earning LOADS with Squidoo but considering how much work and effort I put into it these days, I'm amazed to earn anything. Every month I seem to get a couple sales and have a handful of lenses in Tier 3 so I make a bit. September was not my best month, but not my worst. I've been luckier than most in that I've only had a few lenses locked. And it's better than most other sites I've worked on with a total of $88 and change earned to date. It was a year ago that I started getting serious about making money on Squidoo.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $4.79</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
8. LOLSpots/MyLikes</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
My Facebook Page. I have to say that although this is not my biggest earner, it does earn more than other (like IB) and I do almost nothing on this little egg. I have my Facebook Page set up so everything autoposts. I use a combination of LOLSpots and MyLikes. MyLikes takes a bit more work because I need to load up links to BufferApp but I do it when I remember. LOLSpots is easier because they pretty much do all the work for me. Consider the effort that I put into it I'm ok with what it is earnings. I have made enough on LOLSpots to get paid out this month - just over $10 and I've been paid out twice (have to have more than $2) in earnings from MyLikes with a total of about $5. I need to keep better track of these two sites.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings: $4 </strong>(estimated because I didn't write down the exact amount for LOLSpots in September and their stats aren't the best)</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
9. My Writing Site</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I'm trying to post on my writing site more often and have been playing around with advertising. I even tried Chikita and didn't like the ads that showed up. Now I have Adsense back on there and I'm only using text links. I find that they are a lot more relevant. I'll know better next month if it is making a difference. I do like the new text ad formats.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Oh, and on top of that I made $50 in the form of a text link for Grammarly. The $50 came in the form of an Amazon gift card, which is fine with me because it will go towards buying presents for my grandbaby for Christmas. So, I'm counting this. ;)</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Earnings (not counting Adsense): $50</strong></div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
My Own Residual Earning Site</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I actually have two of them now. <a data-mce-href="http://writedge.com" href="http://writedge.com/" target="_blank">Writedge</a> is the site I run with my friend Michelle. As I said before, I'm not going to talk about the money on this site but what I will tell you is that the amount of content has seriously increase. And, some of MY earnings from Adsense is from clicks on my own links to the site. The other is <a data-mce-href="http://mytwocents.me" href="http://mytwocents.me/" target="_blank">My Two Cents</a>. I've basically set this site up so that if I decide not to write at Bubblews at all, I have somewhere to do these short posts. I'm not heavily promoting it as a rev share site but if you want to come and post you're welcome to be there. It is adsense based and you can use links to your own Amazon or other affiliate programs. One link per post.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
Grand Total:</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>$ 240.30</strong></div>
<div class="zemanta-pixie" data-mce-style="margin-top: 10px; height: 15px;" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; height: 15px; line-height: 19px; margin-top: 10px;">

I have to say that June has been fairly good to me. Things are looking good. I put in a little more effort on promoting my posts and it has paid off.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
If I haven’t mentioned it in the past, my focus is no longer on getting indexed on Google. I mean, I know it is good but with all the changes that are happening I just believe that as writers and content providers we have very little control over it. Instead, my focus is on providing good content and sharing it socially. I think if the quality is there that people will share what you share and that will help with the search engines in the long run. People also use social media platforms, like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter as search engines and if you ignore that you’re losing out a lot. I think so anyway. So, I’ve started using hashtags more.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
One of the things that I have done is added a Tumblr account. I mostly share posts that are related to entertainment. You <strong><a data-mce-href="http://dmcgaw.tumblr.com/" href="http://dmcgaw.tumblr.com/">can follow me here</a></strong> and I’ll follow you back if you’re on Tumblr! I’ve also started using Pinterest more often and I’m finding that because I’m there more often people are re-pinning my stuff more, too.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Anyway, on to the report!</div>
<div class="mceTemp" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<dl class="wp-caption alignleft" data-mce-style="width: 210px;" id="" style="background-color: #f3f3f3; border-bottom-left-radius: 3px; border-bottom-right-radius: 3px; border-top-left-radius: 3px; border-top-right-radius: 3px; border: 1px solid rgb(221, 221, 221); float: left; margin: 10px 0px; padding-top: 4px; text-align: center; width: 210px;">
<dt class="wp-caption-dt"><a data-mce-href="http://www.crunchbase.com/company/tumblr" href="http://www.crunchbase.com/company/tumblr" target="_blank"><img alt="Image representing Tumblr as depicted in Crunc..." class="zemanta-img-inserted zemanta-img-configured" data-mce-src="http://www.crunchbase.com/assets/images/resized/0000/1372/1372v1-max-450x450.png" height="61" src="http://www.crunchbase.com/assets/images/resized/0000/1372/1372v1-max-450x450.png" style="-webkit-user-drag: none; border: 0px none; cursor: default; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" title="Image representing Tumblr as depicted in Crunc..." width="200" /></a></dt>
<dd class="wp-caption-dd" style="font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 4px 5px;">Image via CrunchBase</dd></dl>
</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
1. Bubblews</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I did great on Bubblews this month! I cashed out 12 times and earned a total of <strong>$339.74</strong>. I made 117 new posts. So how did I make more? I think it is the combination of the Tumblr account and more Pinterest activity and the hashtags that have made the biggest difference. That and more regular use of social media (I was a little sporadic before June). I made <strong>$74.44</strong> MORE with less work. So, I’m pretty happy with that.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
2. Adsense</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Adsense is still not where I want it but it is better. I made <strong>$3.37</strong> this month compared to the $2.44 I made last month. I’m going to contribute that towards the new ads on my main blog. And posting a little more so getting more traffic. How did I change the ads? Well, first, I put a text link ad at the very top of the page. Thanks to my friend Michelle for that tip! Why is that good? Well, the ads are just so much more relevant! I also changed all the ads on the blog to text ads only – no more graphics – except for the one in the footer. Again, wow – relevance! And that is key. If you go to a blog about freelance writing and you get ads about banking, how likely are you to click on them? Pretty unlikely I’d say.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
So, I’m happy to see a little increase and I’m hoping it will continue that way.</div>

3. YouTube</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I only put up one new video last month and it is hardly worth counting because it only had 9 views. So, all of my YouTube earnings are completely residual. And I really do love that. I made <strong>$8.73</strong> on YouTube this month compared to the $7.78 I made last month. Sweet!</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
4. InfoBarrel</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I didn’t add anything new to InfoBarrel this month but I did make a bit more. I earned <strong>$2.98</strong> compare to $1.99 last month. Nothing new going on there. I have decided to pull some of my articles that are doing absolutely nothing on the site (no view hardly at all). I’m likely going to give them a little re-vamp and put them on my own site (more about that in a bit).</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
5. Ebooks</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Ebook sales are up this month, too! I made <strong>$8.68</strong>, compare to $5.21 from last month. I also added a new ebook but only one of the 6 sales was the new book. I’m working on learning more about promoting my ebook and I actually have an advertisement on a writing site this month so I’m curious about how it will do. I might try a Facebook ad this month later on, too.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
6. Amazon</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Amazon was my slowpoke in June. I made <strong>$2.51</strong> there this month. Last month was over $6 so that was king of disappointing. But that is directly related to the chaos that is Squidoo. All hell has broken out over there, traffic has dropped substantially, lenses are being locked. It’s pretty crazy. So, I’m working on a new plan for making money on Amazon.</div>
<div class="mceTemp" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">

</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
7. Squidoo</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
As mentioned, all hell has broken loose on Squidoo and my earnings in June (from April) showed that. I only made <strong>$2.47</strong> at Squidoo this month compared to the $15.62 I made last month. I’m not giving up on them though. I am just going to work on making the lenses that I have better and if I make a new one it is going to be damn good and worth sharing and it is going to feature products that actually cost something. I have a bit of thinking to do about this site but I’m not completely done with it.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
….and the new site I’ve been promising to tell you about….</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
8. LOLSpots</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Some of you will love this. Someone has come up with a way to make Facebook profitable. If you’re great at creating pages people love with funny content you’re going to want to try this.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
LOLSpots is a site that helps you optimize your Facebook page. Some considerations:</div>
<ul style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<li>you have to have 1000 or more likes on your page</li>
</ul>
<ul style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<li>this works best for funny stuff, humor, etc.</li>
</ul>
<ul style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<li>it’s not for everyone</li>
</ul>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<a data-mce-href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/alluncensoredmecover.png" href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/alluncensoredmecover.png"><img alt="" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-403" data-mce-src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/alluncensoredmecover-300x178.png" height="178" src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/alluncensoredmecover-300x178.png" style="border: 0px; cursor: default; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="alluncensoredmecover" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
My Facebook Page is <strong><a data-mce-href="http://facebook.com/alluncensoredme" href="http://facebook.com/alluncensoredme">All Uncensored Me</a></strong>. I’d known about this opportunity for some time and I’d been working my butt off to get it to more than 1000 likes so that I could join the LOLSpots program. I finally got there right at the end of May and was signed up and approved by June 1st.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
So, how does this work? Well, first, it automatically posts content for you. It takes all the pictures that you’ve posted on your page and puts them on a page on the LOLSpots network. These pages have ads. Then it shares your pictures and everyone else’s pictures on your Facebook page with a link. Some of the pictures have little teasers (like something circled) and a title that leads fans in to click. You get paid per views.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<a data-mce-href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/aumpost.png" href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/aumpost.png"><img alt="" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-404" data-mce-src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/aumpost-300x167.png" height="167" src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/aumpost-300x167.png" style="border: 0px; cursor: default; float: left;" title="aumpost" width="300" /></a>Recently they have added “articles”, which aren’t really articles but instead are collections of funny memes that follow a theme. Most of them are pretty good.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
All of these pictures and memes that automatically get posted on your Facebook page (you can determine how often) can also be posted manually on other Facebook pages you own, on Twitter, on Pinterest, and on Tumblr. I’m trying to work out a system of sharing these pics/memes that works well.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I didn’t get rich off this site but I did make another <strong>$2.45</strong>. Not bad for my first month.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
If you have a funny/humor based Facebook Page with more than 1000 likes (or if you’re close and need some help) and want to get in on this send me a message and I will help you get set up!</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Update to add...</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
9. My Writing Site</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I almost forgot to add this because I don't usually make any money from this site but my main site actually earned me a nice little chunk of change this month. I got paid from an affiliate (that I always forget about) and I made one affiliate sale so I made <strong>$49</strong> from affiliate sales!</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
My Own Residual Earning Site</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
As I mentioned on this blog, I and a friend, started our own residual earning site. I'm not going to be including stats from that but if you want to know more about the site <strong><a data-mce-href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/launch-of-new-revenue-share-site/" href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/launch-of-new-revenue-share-site/" target="_blank">check it out here</a></strong>.</div>

It’s been a little wonky. So, would I say this has been a typical month? No, not at all.</span><br />
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
<a data-mce-href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bubblews-logo.png" href="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bubblews-logo.png"><img alt="" class="alignright size-full wp-image-351" data-mce-src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bubblews-logo.png" height="141" src="http://400daysofresidualincome.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/bubblews-logo.png" style="border: 0px; cursor: default; float: right;" title="bubblews logo" width="291" /></a>1. Bubblews</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
This is where I have been spending the majority of my time. No matter what some people say, I think this site is going to continue to be a nice little earner. Since my last cash out of the month on the 28th and up to today, I have only published 5 articles. I have not been tweeting articles that weren’t freshly published. And I’m almost ready to cash out again. So, really, if I could do almost nothing and still make $25 in 5 days that means I should be making $100-125 a month doing nothing. I’m tempted to try it. We’ll see.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Anyway, on to the stats…</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I published 143 new articles between the 1st and the 28th of the month. I cashed out 9 times. And my total earnings was…</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong><br /></strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>$265.30</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
When you consider that this was an average of 5 articles a day I think that is pretty good. And these are not usually long articles. I’d say that more than ¾ of the articles were less than 10 minutes to write. More like 5. They are “interest” pieces.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I’d like to experiment a bit and see what writing some longer keyword pieces can do. I know at least one person that is having some success with this.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
2. Adsense</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Adsene – my goodness I had quite the month with them. It was slow, slow, slow and then all of a sudden I’m getting a bunch of clicks for days in a row and they are big numbers. Not massive, but big in comparison to the rest of the month. Honestly, I’m terribly worried that they are going to ban me for click fraud! I’ve contacted them to let them know it was not me or anyone I know but I don’t know how that is going to go.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Google seems to agree that there’s something weird about that because in my payments I can see that I was only credited with <strong>$2.44</strong> for the month.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Sucky huh?</div>
<div class="mceTemp" style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">

<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
3. YouTube</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
When it comes to Adsense, the majority of my earnings have always come from YouTube. I actually added 4 new videos this month. Not bad. Better than in the past few months for sure. They are just vlog videos so nothing spectacular.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
According to my Adsense dashboard my earnings are <strong>$7.78</strong>.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
4. InfoBarrel</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Since I’ve been concentrating more on Bubblews I haven’t written anything new at IB this month. I did fix up a few of them that are kind of staggering, but that’s it.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I changed over to the IB earnings program so I have a mixture of Adsense and other earnings here. Again, it was slow though. Much lower than in previous months.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Combined, my earnings at IB were <strong>$1.99</strong> (and yes, I’m really embarrassed about that!)</div>

5. Ebooks</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Finally ebooks. Another slow month. Seems to be slow all over really. I had 3 sales for a total of <strong>$5.21</strong>. I got my banking info set up so I’ll actually get a payment from Kindle this month.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
**June 4: adding content because being the spaz that I am I FORGOT to include two things!</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
6. Amazon</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Since Squidoo has gone all stupid my Amazon earnings have also decreased as that is where the majority of them have come from. But anyway, with no major addition work to actually try to earn here I made $<strong>6.27</strong> with 9 items shipped.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
7. Squidoo</h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
I had been trying to give a current month status but that just doesn't work with them so the amount made is what they actually paid me last month. That means it was earned in March. I got paid $<strong>15.62</strong> last month.</div>
<h2 style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>Grand Total</strong></h2>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
<strong>$304.61</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
Not my best month. Not my worst.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">
But I have something new in the works that you all will hear about soon! It has a lot of potential and I’m really excited about it and I hope you all will be a part of it!</div>

I like it so far. It is fun and I'm enjoying being creative. I started the account with the intention of writing about television shows because I love reality shows and crime shows. <br />
<br />
But at the suggestion of a post in the forum, I decided to write a leaf (that is what they are called there, kind of like articles on Squidoo are called squids) about my home town. So, I wrote this nice indepth leaf about <b><a href="http://www.zujava.com/swan-river-manitoba-canada-the-hub-of-the-swan-river-valley" target="_blank">Swan River, MB</a></b>.<br />
<br />
I didn't really think too much of it. It was really just for fun. What I didn't know was that the president of the Chamber of Commerce had a Google Alert for "Swan River" and found it through that! And he seemed to like it because he forwarded the article to his mailing list. Once that happened I started getting comments from various people in Swan River that are involved in the town and the tourist committee. That was pretty cool.<br />
<br />
I also wrote <b><a href="http://www.zujava.com/danielle-mcgaw-canadian-freelance-writer" target="_blank">a bio for myself</a></b> on Zujava because it is important to get the word out about yourself when you make a living online. For one person that read my <b><a href="http://www.zujava.com/swan-river-manitoba-canada-the-hub-of-the-swan-river-valley" target="_blank">Swan River</a></b> leaf, it lead him to my bio. And that person was Brian Gilroy, the general manager of the Swan Valley Star & Times, our local paper. It just so happened that they were in need of another reporter for the paper and he invited me to come and talk to him if I was interested. <br />
<br />
After a few emails and a discussion, I got a job as a freelance reporter for my local paper!<br />
<br />
There's a point to all of this, other than just being proud of the work I've done to promote myself. The point is that you never know who is going to read your online work, so make it good. And you never know where it is going to lead you so make sure it is representative of what you are really capable of.<br />
<br />
Would you like to do some writing at Zujava, too? It will give you exposure and you can earn money from your writing!<br />

I've been writing at HubPages for 9 months now and I've written 100 hubs. I've learned a thing or two in that time.<br />
<br />
I've learned that certain articles get more views. And there are good reasons for that. <br />
<br />
I've learned that the way your present your articles gets them read more.<br />
<br />
I've learned your subject and how your write about it can get more comments.<br />
<br />
And I've learned that HubPages really can bring more traffic to your sites! And that's a big one for me!<br />
<br />
And of course, I've learned that the more your write, the more money you make! Isn't that what we are all writing for?<br />
<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqfhhOsAMkD2-k-M961jm3Ynd3Q6fn_0gkoGGGtwVUw9T1NsoqOb3HMT0UHUAB_8DXkJUa4K-QdlWiTKAeFU032zmKhxMkGnlEwYialg-BXwmGBH_FG6LexZ5ZOcwPftjJPFQs3iZ_vm8/s1600/hubpageswriterscommunity.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqfhhOsAMkD2-k-M961jm3Ynd3Q6fn_0gkoGGGtwVUw9T1NsoqOb3HMT0UHUAB_8DXkJUa4K-QdlWiTKAeFU032zmKhxMkGnlEwYialg-BXwmGBH_FG6LexZ5ZOcwPftjJPFQs3iZ_vm8/s1600/hubpageswriterscommunity.png" /></a></div>
I not only complete it - I killed it!<br />
<br />
In 30 days I put up 45 hubs and now have a total of 100 Hubs!<br />
<br />
How did I do it? I wrote like a SOB! A lot.<br />
<br />
I put up a variety of articles.<br />
<br />
I tweeted, liked, Google+, and Pinned each one. Sometimes twice<br />
<br />
Traffic was decent, got a lot of new followers, and earnings are more than double the highest I've ever had in a month (that will come with my income report).<br />
<br />
So, I'm glad I did it.<br />
<br />
But now, I need to build some backlinks!<br />
<br />
And that brings me to my next challenge....<br />
<br />
300 backlinks in 30 days!<br />
<br />
Yes, I'm nuts.<br />
<br />
But I have a plan.<br />
<br />
And you can join me if you want. Just come and like my Facebook page. There will be challenges throughout the week and good reading on backlinking.<br />
<br />
Come and like the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/HubPagesWritersCommunity" target="_blank">HubPages Writer's Community</a> and take part in challenges and discussion.<br />

If you're just getting started writing for residual income online you'll likely find that it is a bit of a challenge! There is so much to learn. <br />
<br />
Some people want to learn it all before they start. They read and read and read. And eventually, all that information becomes so intimidating that it can be hard to get going.<br />
<br />
My biggest advice? Just get started. Don't waste all that time trying to learn everything before you start. You can learn as you go. The best thing you can do is just write something and get going.<br />
<br />
Another thing you should do is treat your online writing seriously. Don't just write when you are inspired. Write with a purpose. Your purpose is up to you. But if you treat it as a hobby that is all it will ever be and you will likely never fulfill the purpose that you have started with.<br />

One of the toughest things to learn is how to write articles/hubs that are actually being read. So, many new writers spend their time writing articles that never get read. <br />
<br />
One of the ways you can tell that your articles are actually being read is that they get comments. You might have lots of traffic but without readers your articles are just a waste of time right? And if people are actually reading your articles they will sometimes be inspired to leave a comment.<br />
<br />
It's great to get comments on your article because it makes you feel like your time writing online is well spent. Even if the money isn't coming in yet (be patient, it will!) you can feel rewarded by the comments that people leave.<br />
<br />
If you want people to read your articles there are several things you can do to encourage reading. Remember that online readers tend to scan first and then decide if they want to read so making your articles scannable is very important!<br />

I wasn't sure what it was but I decided to check it out.<br />
<br />
And was I ever glad I did when I won the Daily Contest in my first 24 hours!<br />
<br />
Seriously - it was that fast!<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The Contest</span><br />
<br />
You see, the first thing you should know is that every single day they give away $25 to one of their users. And it isn't terribly hard to win. You get entries into the contest by doing things and then there is a random draw.<br />
<br />
You get 2 entries for adding Knowledge Based Content (anything that provides value really) on the RedGage platform. This is pretty simple; it is like a short blog post (or a long one if you want) that provides information on a topic. And you still earn residual earnings on that. But more on that to come.<br />
<br />
You get 10 entries if you mentions RedGage on another site like your blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You can get credit for up to 3 mentions per domain per day but you have to have them approved by RedGage. I think the key is to say something valuable and not just say the same thing over and over again.<br />
<br />
And you get 20 entries for referring a new user! Yes, 20! That's how I won my first contest - I referred a friend.<br />
<br />
Now a couple things to note about the contest:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>You can only win once a week</li>
<li>If you try to manipulate the system they'll be onto you so don't bother</li>
<li>All entries are verified by a real person so don't say you mentioned them on your blog if you didn't!</li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Backlinks</span></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, on to the important stuff. If you're like me you are out there getting backlinks for your articles. Backlinks are critical. They bring you traffic and you are more likely to be found in the search engines if you have backlinks to your articles.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You can create links on RedGage in a couple ways:</div>
<div>
<ol>
<li>Post a link directly to your article</li>
<li>Post a "blog post" with a synopsis of your article and a link</li>
</ol>
<div>
Links are dofollow and RedGage is a PR4 site. </div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Can't go wrong with that!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Residual earnings</span></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Yes, you earn with everything you do on RedGage. Post a link? Every time someone views it you earn money. Post a blog? You earn every time someone reads it. Post a picture? A video? A document? Yes, they all earn with each view. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The amount per 1000 views varies per person but I start at .60/1000 views and in a week I'm up to .85 from views. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'll give you a hint - the blog posts and pictures do great. Promote them on your social networks just like you would anything else.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Actually, I'm no longer adding pictures to Facebook. Why should I when they can do anything they like with them once I've added them? Instead, I'm adding all my pictures to RedGage. You can create Categories to make it easier for people to find your pictures. And remember, now when your friends view your pictures YOU make money!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Payout</span></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is one of the few sites I've seen that does not offer payout through PayPal. Instead, when you hit $25 (yes, that is the minimum payout) you can request payout and they send you a pre-paid VISA card. The first one has a $5 fee but after that you can request payout to your card every $25.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
RedGage is awesome! Residual earnings, backlinks, and a daily contest - that can't be beat.</div>
<div>

Yes, I have been neglectful. Bad blogger!<br />
<br />
Second....<br />
<br />
I FINALLY HIT PAYOUT WITH ADSENSE!<br />
<br />
Yes, it has taken more than a year but I got there and I am so damn happy about it. I have heard that once you hit that first payout the time in between gets shorter and shorter.<br />
<br />
<b>What I've Been Doing</b><br />
<br />
Well, I've been doing quite a few things. As always, I bounce around. I think I have IADD - Internet Attention Deficit Disorder. But that is one of the things that I love about working from home. I can do what I want when I want for however long I want. <br />
<br />
Some of the things I have been working on:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Writing for clients</li>
<li>Writing my own blogs (I have 3 that I try to keep regularly updated and several more that are more sporadic)</li>
<li>Writing articles</li>
<li>Coming up with new ways to make money online.</li>
</ul>
<div>
First, let's talk about residual earnings. Obviously, that has been going ok. I see my earning creeping up a little bit each month. One of the biggest differences has been <a href="http://youtube.com/TheDMcGaw" target="_blank">my YouTube Channel</a>. I mentioned awhile ago (in November I think) that I got approved for monetization and that it was good. Each month, I've continued to see those clicks come in and on average, they have a higher CTR than my articles or my blogs (with one exception, which I'll get into in a second) so one of my goals has been to make more videos. Now monetization is good - but Partnership would be even better! So I am going to make an concerted effort to make more videos and get more subscribers so that I can make Partnership by the end of the year.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The other venue that has been increasing my residual earnings is the site that I started back in August. I don't know if I actually mentioned it or not but it is called <a href="http://livewithoutajob.com/" target="_blank">Live Without a Job</a> (LWAJ) and it is all about the various factors that should be considered and that are important. I cover basic living (food, entertainment, etc.) as well as sources of income and I often feature blogs that I think have value for my readers. I'm not as high as I would like to be with traffic yet but it is getting there and the CTR on that site is pretty decent. And the amount earned from clicks are pretty good, too. So that is definitely a site that is on my radar.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Between those two earners I've decided that I need to really put some effort into 1) making blog posts on LWAJ and 2) turning those blog posts into videos. This is especially good when I do a Featured Blog because then the person that I've featured often links back to me or embeds my video, which brings my ads on YouTube into a new place. Love that.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I continue to do my article marketing on <a href="http://www.infobarrel.com/signup.php?ref_id=9077" target="_blank">InfoBarrel</a> and the earnings there have definitely increased. Not posting as much on Bukisa or Hubpages because I don't really think those are worth my time. I am using <a href="http://www.best-reviewer.com/referral/77778013" target="_blank">Best-Reviewer</a> for backlinks because they are fast and pretty easy and they also have an adsense program.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have added one more venue to my residual earnings plan and that is <a href="http://exm.nr/ytWmWM" target="_blank">Examiner</a>. Your earnings there are based on views, not clicks, so you can do pretty good if you know how to promote yourself. I haven't been there quite a month yet and I've only posted 6 articles and I've almost made $2. So I think it is worth doing. The hardest part for me is that I have a local channel for a city that I don't actually live in. Thank goodness for the Internet.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'm actually thinking of signing up for another sight that offers pay per click. I'll let you know how that goes.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Oh, and on the home front....I'm a grandma! Well, Naenae. Same thing. My baby had a baby - much earlier than I would have liked but it is what it is and I have a beautiful little granddaughter that makes me smile every day.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
So...what have you all been up to?</div>
<br />

<img alt="" class="zemanta-pixie-img" src="http://img.zemanta.com/pixy.gif?x-id=5e846d73-11dd-471c-83d8-c41a2b1bc0d7" style="border: none; float: right;" /></div>Dani Gibbings McGawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16611072481184938826noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3055443824553008076.post-3433761376383077762011-11-13T22:40:00.001-06:002011-11-13T22:46:52.730-06:00What Would You Like to Know?So, this isn't an income report but it does have to do with increasing your income. And it is a request, too. <br />
<br />
You see, I decided to monetize my YouTube account and see what would happen. I didn't think I'd really get much because I don't have a LOAD of traffic there. I actually only have one video that gets much action. But I figured I would try it out anyway.<br />
<br />
And I was shocked! Now apparently it is against Google's TOS to talk about click through rates and stuff like that but what I can tell you is that my CTR is much higher than any other site that I have monetized. And the amount per click is generally higher, too. <br />
<br />
So, if you have a YouTube channel that you get any kind of traffic to - get in there an monetize those videos now! It is super cool and I'm so hyped about it. I've put up three new videos lately - I'm just trying to figure out what gets the traffic.<br />
<br />
If there is something you'd like to know about Blogger blogs or WordPress blogs or residual earnings or writing or social media - please ask and I'll make a video about it. If you have a site I'll even leave a link to your site in the description of the video so you might get some traffic, too!<br />
<br />

Well, I've really been having some great chats with these ladies and last night this chat turned into an idea for a group project.<br />
<br />
I don't want to get too into details because I want to be able to put it all together later but basically it involves working together to create on fabulous network of articles, backlinks, and one One Page Wonder (OPW). If you're not sure what a One Page Wonder is it is basically your sales page that gets people to BUY. When you write HubPages or InfoBarrel or Ezinearticles articles, you can't put in affiliate links. But you can point people to a page that does have your affiliate links on it. And that is what the OPW is for.<br />
<br />
It is going to be a smallish group to start off with - 5 or 6 of us. We are all in the process of picking a general topic. Once we pick the topic, each of us is committed to writing one article a week. That one article will be linked to the OPW and each person is responsible to do their own backlinking. There will be a certain amount of backlinks required for each member to build.<br />
<br />
Once each member has their article ready, we will link them together in a small open wheel.<br />
<br />
The OPW will be linked to a Master List of articles so that people who want to know more can go to the list and find other articles on the topic. That gives each article written another link in.<br />
<br />
Those who are participating in the project will have the chance to earn more from their articles (through adsense or whatever they use) and will be able to earn on an affiliate project of their choice. The OPW will have links to each person's affiliate program of choice.<br />
<br />
Sound complicated? Maybe a little.<br />
<br />
But I predict that this is going to change a lot for us.<br />
<br />
I'm truly excited about it and hopefully by the end of the year I'll have some exciting results to post!Dani Gibbings McGawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16611072481184938826noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3055443824553008076.post-22106701821103972132011-09-18T16:17:00.001-05:002011-09-18T16:17:08.750-05:00The Difficult Teen YearsI thought that you might like to see how I am working my themes in my residual earnings efforts. <br />
I've linked everything with IMAutomator.<br />
<br />
And now? Now I let it sit for awhile and get some age. I'll add a reminder to my calendar to go back and do some more back linking in a couple weeks.<br />
<br />
So, what do you think? Suggestions?Dani Gibbings McGawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16611072481184938826noreply@blogger.com2
